{"id":373,"date":"2012-11-06T21:34:12","date_gmt":"2012-11-06T21:34:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pertprojectdesign.co.uk\/?p=373"},"modified":"2013-03-10T11:54:34","modified_gmt":"2013-03-10T11:54:34","slug":"bin-men-and-their-ipads-poem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pertprojectdesign.co.uk\/?p=373","title":{"rendered":"Bin Men and their IPads-poem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Please Read the <strong>Article<\/strong> &#8220;Bin Men and their I-Pads&#8221; to understand the inspiration for this poem.<\/p>\n<p>Have you heard about the latest crack<br \/>\nThey`re giving binmen Apple Macs<br \/>\nThe country`s gone completely mad<br \/>\nRefuse collectors with free i -pads<\/p>\n<p>It`s hard to believe we`re in a recession<br \/>\nWhen you hear what they spend in council sessions<br \/>\nNo wonder Bury`s never in the black<br \/>\nThey`re throwing it away on Apple Macs.<\/p>\n<p>To count the bins and help them add<br \/>\nThey`re giving their binmen those\u00a0 new I-Pads<br \/>\nFour hundred quid is what they cost<br \/>\nCouncil Taxpayers will cover the loss<\/p>\n<p>Now Apple make some great computers<br \/>\nYou plug them in to your wireless routers<br \/>\nTake them with you wherever you go<br \/>\nWatch the tele or a picture show<\/p>\n<p>But the latest use or application<br \/>\nIs causing massive consternation<br \/>\nCouncils in Bury are making a stand<br \/>\nThey`re fitting i-pads in their garbage vans<\/p>\n<p>Why they need these pads beats me<br \/>\nIs it to check their shares or watch tv?<br \/>\nPlace a bet or pay a bill<br \/>\nWatch a film with naked girls<\/p>\n<p>Pay their road tax or register for sorn<br \/>\nOr sit in a lay-by watching porn<br \/>\nCome on councillors get a grip<br \/>\nSend this extravagance to the rubbish tip<\/p>\n<p>The truth about some of these refuse collectors<br \/>\nThey have several jobs to pay their debtors<br \/>\nThey finish their rounds by half eleven<br \/>\nThen it`s off to make that second livin`<\/p>\n<p>Delivering snacks on lunchtime rounds<br \/>\nOr walking other peoples hounds<br \/>\nServing in shops or even in bars<br \/>\nIs how they fund their sporty cars<\/p>\n<p>Being a gardener or a window cleaner<br \/>\nThis\u00a0 is how\u00a0 they get their beamers<br \/>\n2nd Jobbing, that`s the way<br \/>\nTo help them pay for that cabriolet<\/p>\n<p>So if you`re feeling rather sad<br \/>\nMaybe you`d like a new i-pad<br \/>\nTo cheer you up in your bachelor appartment<br \/>\nGet yourself a job in the refuse department<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please Read the Article &#8220;Bin Men and their I-Pads&#8221; to understand the inspiration for this poem.
